Most successful students spend 2-3 weeks before starting to familiarize themselves with basic computer operations, file management, and simple text editing. This foundation makes everything else click faster.

Your computer needs at least 8GB RAM and 50GB free storage. We support Windows 10+, macOS 10.14+, or Ubuntu 18.04+. You'll install Visual Studio Code, Git, Node.js, and Chrome browser during your first week. Don't worry—we provide detailed setup guides and troubleshooting support. Most students complete setup in 2-3 hours with our step-by-step videos.

Plan for 15-20 hours per week of focused study time. This includes 6 hours of live sessions, 8-10 hours of project work, and 2-4 hours reviewing concepts. Students with full-time jobs often study early mornings or evenings in 2-hour blocks. Weekend sessions work well for catching up and deeper project work. Consistency matters more than cramming.

Set up a dedicated workspace where you can focus without distractions. Let family or roommates know your study schedule.
